The flow corrector (4) is mounted in a gas flow duct (1), to eliminate vortices in the flow. The device is a plate (11) pierced by a number of circular holes (12), regularly distributed in a symmetrical circular pattern. The hole diameters are less than 0.1 times the duct diameter. The total area of the transverse holes is between 0.4 and 0.8 times the duct transverse section. The largest hole diameter is less than 1.3 times the smallest. The plate thickness is smaller than the largest hole diameter and between 1.0 and 0.6 times it. The plate may be upstream of the meter turbine (3), spaced between 0.1 and 10 times the duct cross section (15).
