A security sleeve (1) rotatable around the first part (2) of the connector has an internal thread divided into rectangular segments (5) which are sepd. by threadless surfaces (6) and mounted resiliently on the inside of the sleeve.A cylindrical portion (4) of the second part (3) of the connector has an external thread with its leading edge (8) flattened and trailing edges (9) set up at right-angles to the basic profile. This portion when pushed into the sleeve can slide over the threaded segments pressed against the wall of the sleeve, until engagement is complete.
