System for transporting individual objects from production to packing machines

The system has conveyors (5,7) with a space in between leading to and from the production machine (2) and packing machine (3).A number of transportation containers (9) are provided, of which, each has several compartments (10). The compartments are located one above the other for accommodating the objects to be packed and for transportation by each of the two conveyors. A facility (13) is provided for transferring a container between conveyors, delivery position and input position.
