Grinding wheel in milling machine with axial inlet and radial outlet

The grinding wheel (4) is fixed on a milling machine shaft (5) inside the housing (1) of the milling machine which has axial inlet and radial outlet. Blades (9) are mounted between two discs (7,8). The inward-facing edge of the blades projects on a part of the width of the blade inwards into the inlet cross-section of the wheel. The projection (11) faces the inlet of the wheel and has a width amounting to pref. 5 to 20% of the width of the blade. The height of the projection corresponds at maximum to the height of the overall blade. All or only some of the blades are provided with the projections. The blades with the projections are arranged symmetrically in the wheel.
