A chestnut powder is prepd. by 1)drying chestnut into water content 12% at 32 deg. c for 7-10 days, 2)peeling the dried chestnut and 1st-pulverizing, 3)soaking the pulverized chestnut in water and 2nd-pulverizing to 90-100 mesh powder, 4)separating the cellulose and the starch of the powder, 5)precipitating or centrifuging the obtd. starch to obtain the pure starch, and 6)drying the pure starch into 15-20% water content.
