Chain saw chain with guide rail, used in forestry and saw mills

The chain-saw chain (1) runs on a shock-absorbed guide rail (2) and over a deflector wheel (3). The chain consists of inner links (4) and straps (5) on each side. The teeth (6) of the deflector wheel (3) fit into the grooves in the inner links.Circle segments are concentrically spaced in relation to the two holes in the inner links and engage with the teeth. Link bolts join the inner links and straps. The guide rail consists of a core, guide-strips, cover plates and shock-absorbing elements held by rivet bolts. The deflector wheel is mounted on a disc with narrow roller bearing.
