The air-cushion vessel has damping screens (18) made as flexible elastic air-permeable cross meshes. It may have lattices extending from the lower floor level (7) of the deck (4) to a waterline (19) above the water surface (2). The mesh incorporates noise damping material.The screens are positioned relative to the wavelengths of the resonance frequencies (f1,f2,f3) in distributed vertical planes (17) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the vessel.
