PROCESS FOR PREPARING WATER-DILUTABLE, AIR-DRYING VARNISH BINDERS AND USE THEREOF

The invention concerns a process for preparing water-dilutable, air-drying varnish binders based on acryl and vinyl-modified alkyd resin emulsions. The latter contain polyoxyalkylene groups introduced via specific (meth)acrylate monomers and are highly suitable as binders for high-gloss coating varnishes, even without the use of "co-solvents".
