Process for returning conveyor gas to coal dust ventilator mill

The partial stream of conveyor gas is sent back through the upper area of the gravel return funnel (7) to the grinding chamber (2). It moves independently of the gravel return, pref. under controlled operation.The return opening can be arranged in a "dead flow space" in the gravel return funnel and is connected to the suction side of the mill. An adjustable flap (21) is pref. set in the opening. The size and shape of the opening is freely selectable.
