The engine has a constant compression ratio. The piston capacity is varied by altering the stroke length of the piston. The stroke gudgeons of the crankshaft are shaped, so that a gudgeon is at an angle of < > O deg. to an imaginary plane, which is at right angles to the crank arms containing the crankshaft axis.The crankshaft is linear moveable in an inclined plane relative to the cylinder/s, so that it executes a movement at right angles and parallel to the cylinder/s. The big-end bearing is shaped as a cylinder, with a passage bore parallel to the stroke gudgeon.
