The boxing training figure (1) is mounted on an arm of a multi-armed swivel lever (2). This rotates approx. about an axis (5) on a boom arm (3) which itself has, opposite the swivel bearing, a vertical guide (6) which is set vertically adjustable on a guide column (7).On the other arm of the swivel lever there is a tension rod (8) with a lift restriction (9). It projects through a contact pressure plate (10) on the boom arm and there is a pretension plate (11) in the end area. One or more pretensioned coil springs (12) are provided on the rod between the pressure plate and pretension plate. A damping element (13) is provided between the boom arm and swivel lever or between boom and tension rod.
