Novel benzisoselen-azoline and -azine derivatives of general formula (II), wherein R1-R8 and R10 have various meanings, especially H, alkyl, etc...; R9 is (a); Y- is a pharmaceutically acceptable acid anion; n = 0 or 1; m = 0, 1 or 2; p = 1, 2 or 3; q = 2, 3 or 4; r = 0 or 1; and pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base salts thereof; with the proviso that there is at most one substituent R9 within each molecule of general formula (II). Said novel derivatives are useful as a drug.
