Multi=purpose clamping device

The clamp device has a tension component (3) located in a space-fixed rotary-thrust-link (4) and articulately connected via a coupling rod (7) with an operating lever (8) pivotable around a space-fixed axis (9). A translatable tensioning spring (12) is arranged between the rotary-thrust link and the tension component.The spring activates the tension component with a force, which is directed against a translatory tension movement of the tension component in the rotary-thrust-link. A stop (14) is provided for the tension component, and limits its pivotability in one movement direction around a rotary axis of the rotary-thrust link.
