A device for assembling a first section (1) and a second section (2) with one end abutting one surface of said first section (1) which has two inwardly extending longitudinal flanges (3), by means of a connecting part (5) having two flexible arms (7) and being fitted into one end of the second section (2) of which at least one wall (2a, 2b) is provided with an aperture (10) for a locking cam (6). The flexible arms (7) of the connecting part (5) can be resiliently bent and the arm ends include a projection (8) extending outwardly therefrom. The size ratio between the gripping end (7-8) of the connecting part (5) and the spacing between the flanges (3) is such that the flexible arms (7) are urged towards one another by said flanges (3) before springing apart resiliently when said connecting part (5), inserted between the flanges (3) in a position parallel or slightly oblique thereto, is positioned perpendicularly to said first section (1) by rotating the second section (2) provided with said connecting part (5).
