Brick made from residues from wood industry

A brick made from residues of wood processing (''a wood brick'') is claimed. The residues are pressed with a binder into the usual shape or into a special shape of a brick. Also claimed is a process for mfg. a wood brick in which the wood residues, esp. a mixt. of wood shavings and saw dust and vermiculite granulated material, are mixed one after the other with water glass/water and PVAC-adhesive/water and the material is charged, esp. pressed, into a brick mould. Also claimed is the use of wood residues in the mfr. of a brick-like constructional unit.
