The low-pressure casting installation (I) comprises a mould (8), a keep-warm furnace (3) for the melt, a melt feed pipe (7) and a feed pipe support unit (16) incorporating means for pressing the feed pipe against the furnace (3). The furnace and the mould are positioned relative to another in such a way that the direction of the feed pipe from the furnace to the mould cavity has an upward inclination.
