Procedure for automatic attachment of cords on objects

The procedure involves the cord (1) being cut to a defined length, which is gripped mechanically or pneumatically by two grippers. Then one or both grippers are guided through one or two through-holes (3). On the other side of the object (4), the detached ends of the cord are placed in an overlapping position and then joined. The gripper is in the form of a tube (5), whereby one gripping jaw is a pushpin movable in the tube, and the other jaw is formed by the closed end of the tube itself.
