The chair seats a person for hand washing small items such as cotton socks or underwears on a washboard. The chair includes a seat body(1) having on its side a support body(2) integrally formed with the seat(1) to receive through a top opening(4) a support plate(5) integrally formed with a pivot shaft cylinder(6) for pivocably and detachably mounted on the support(2) with a fixtures(10), which fits in the shaft cylinder(6) to engage with each other for pivot control of the plate(5) to provide a slanted surface for supporting the side hook portion of a washboard(13), other end being supported in slant on a top projective member(14) of the support(2) and on the ground.
