PURPOSE:To obtain a blood processor having excellent foreign matter removing performance with limited occurrence of leaving, clotting of blood or the like regardless of high blood compatibility and prolonged use by bonding fatty acid and/or a fatty acid derivative to a mesh-like matter made of a polymer compound through a polymer. CONSTITUTION:Blood flows into a filter 1 at an inflow port 5 to be stored in a main pipe 2 and is discharged at a discharge port 3 after the removal of foreign matters with a mesh-like matter 7. The mesh-like matter is made of a high polymer compound with a shape of a bag in which two mesh sheets are sealed on the periphery thereof and fatty acid and/or a fatty acid derivative are bonded thereto through a polymer. An opening of the mesh-like matter 7 is sealed up over the circumference of the main pipe 2 and the blood passing through the filter 1 all passes through the mesh-like matter 7. A structure of bonding a specified polymer derivative to the mesh-like matter 7 lessens damage to blood as caused by the leaving, the clotting of blood and the like thereby achieving a reduction in the clogging of the mesh-like matter 7. |
