<p>PURPOSE:To concentrate the weight distribution of a head body more largely to a peripheral side than a face and to make a sweet area larger and centroid lower by respectively disposing weights formed as separate bodies from each other on the back side, face side and sole side of the head body. CONSTITUTION:This golf club head is formed by installing the weights consisting of a material having the sp.gr. larger than the sp.gr. of the material of the head body 11a having a neck 7a to this head body. In such a case, the back side weight 12a is disposed into an assembly groove 16a formed in the peripheral part on the back side 2a of the head body 11a. The face side weight 13a is disposed in an assembly groove 17a formed in the peripheral part along the sole side 3a and heel side on the face side 1a of the head body 11a. Further, the sole side weight 14a is disposed in an assembly groove 18a formed in the peripheral part on the sole side 3a of the head body 11a. The respective weights 12a, 13a, 14a are formed as separate bodies from each other.</p> |
