PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a predictive model for a plate crown and to obtain a rolled plate with a stable quality. CONSTITUTION:In implementing a continuous rolling for a metal plate by using a plate crown predictive model obtained preliminarily, the predictive model is made a combination of each of the element models consisting of an analytical model for deforming characteristic of a metal plate as a learning object, predictive model for thermal expansion of a roll, and predictive model for wear of a roll other than an elastic deformation model of a roll. Predictive errors are determined from a target plate crown, which is obtained from this plate crown predictive model, and from a plate crown which is measured in the rolling process of a metal plate; and the extent of errors contained in each element of the plate crown predictive model is decided from a relation between the predictive error and the rolling number of the metal plates after the completion of a rolling cycle. Based on the result of this decision the predictive errors are distributed to each element model for the learning object so as to obtain a target plate crown, and the plate crown predictive model is corrected in preparation for the rolling of the next metal plate. |
