<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an ink jet printer having a detachable or replaceable thermal page width printing bar by using a connector utilizing a valve to connect the thermal page width printing bar to an ink processing system. CONSTITUTION: An ink processing system 100 feeds ink to a page width printing bar 210 corresponding to a demand and includes an ink supply and the overflow drain channel of a printing bar manifold assisting an expert at a time of the replacement of the printing bar. An ink flow is generated and kept by the capillary force of an ink jet, atmospheric pressure and gravity. Ink 40 is housed in an ink bag 160 and may be degassed. It is pref. to apply ink cut off from air to the page width printing bar 210.</p> |
