PURPOSE:To increase the water retention of watering holes by increasing the water contacting area of the inner surface of the watering holes by roughening the surface in a shower head having more than one watering hole consisting of small diametered through holes in the front surface of a water passage space. CONSTITUTION:A shower head 1 is connected to the end of a flexible hose 2 through a connection fixture 3 and hung from a hanger 6 which is fixed on a wall surface 4 by screws 5 to be able to be attached to or detached from it. A water passage space 7 is formed in the shower head 1, and a watering plate 9 is fixed by screws 8 on the front surface of the space 7. More than one watering holes 10 are opened in the watering plate 9. The water contacting area of the inner surface of the watering holes 10 is increased by roughening the surface. For example, the watering hole is formed to have a square cross section, and the inner surface of the hole is roughened to a degree of roughness Ra=1.5-3.5mum. In this way, the water retention of the watering hole 10 can be increased without reducing the inner diameter of the hole, preventing water dripping when watering is stopped. |
