PURPOSE:To accommodate paper sheets of different sizes on an intermediate tray without dispersion by allowing an accommodating means to move in the sheet accommodating direction to a specific position corresponding to the sheet size used. CONSTITUTION:When a paper sheet of A4 transverse size (210mm long) is to be accommodated in an intermediate tray 110, the second accommodating roller 133 is positioned 222mm apart from the leading edge restricting position, wherein 222mm signifies the sum of the sheet length (210mm), radius of the roller 133 (9mm), and a margin (3mm). To accommodate a sheet shorter than the A4 transverse size, the accommodation part 130 is moved right. In the position corresponding to a B5 transverse size sheet (182mm long), the distance from the first accommodating roller 131 to the leading edge restricting position is 310mm, and the sheet is sent from the first accommodating roller 131 to the intermediate tray 110. To accommodate an A3 longitudinal size sheet (420mm long), the accommodation part 130 is moved left, and the distance from the first accommodating roller 131 to the leading edge restricting position is made 432mm. |
