PURPOSE:To reliably improve safety of a seated person by restraining reaction applied from an air bag to the seated person by securing a space in which an air bag can swell, effectively absorbing inertia force applying to the seated person, preventing secondary collision of the seated person with the car body side wall side, and preventing tertiary collision of the seated person with an interior trim material, in the case of side collision of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A projecting part 21a which extends so as to approach the car body side wall 12 side and restrains an entrance of the car body side wall 12 side into the interior in the case of side collision, is formed on one side end side opposed to the car body side wall 12 side above a seat back 21, and a side collision use air bag 40 to swell in response at least to a head part and the side of a chest part of a seated person in a space between the seated person and the car body side wall 12 side secured by the projecting part 21a in the case of side collision, is internally trimmed in this projecting part 21a. |
