<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for heating a metallic coil capable of uniformly and efficiently heating the metallic coil. CONSTITUTION:Induction heating coils 4 are arranged in proximity to at least one-end face in the transverse direction of the metallic coil 1 formed by winding metallic foils 3 in a multilayered state. The transverse ends of the respective layers of the metallic coil 1 are heated by the induction heating effect generated by energization to these induction heating coils 4 and the respective layers are heated by conduction of the generated heat to the transverse direction. The induction heating coils 4 are formed to a spiral shape within the plane and are preferably arranged in parallel at the end faces of the metallic coil 1.</p> |
