<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dehumidifier avoiding the return of steam from a water collecting member. CONSTITUTION:Water is condensed on a cooling body 21 by the operation of a Peltier element 2. A guide passage 35 is normally closed by a water discharge valve 5, and hence steam is not returned to a housing chamber 10 from a water collecting member 37. When the condensed water is detected by a sensor 6, the valve 5 is opened for a specified time by a control means 7, and the condensed water is passed through the passage 35 and collected by the member 37.</p> |
