OIL OF BONITO AND/OR TUNA REDUCED IN FISHY SMELL

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject oil, comprising docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid contained in fatty acid residues of fats and oils at concentrations within respective specific ranges, having a specific value or above of the trans-isomer content, hardly emitting a fishy smell and suitable for food materials and medicinal materials. CONSTITUTION:This oil of a bonito (Katsuwonus pelamis) and/or a tuna (Thunnus thynnus) has 15-25% docosahexaenoic acid concentration contained in fatty acid residues in fats and oils, 1-10% eicosapentaenoic acid concentration contained therein and >=4% content of the trans-isomer.
