PURPOSE:To further reduce hot shrinkage in a porous sintered compact made of a perovskite type multiple oxide and to produce such a porous sintered compact having porosity equal to the conventional porosity by firing at a higher firing temp. than the conventional temp. CONSTITUTION:This porous sintered compact 1 is made of a multiple oxide contg. atoms of one or more kinds of principal metals selected from among rare earth metals and Y in the A site of the oxide, Mn in the B site and atoms of one or more kinds of substd. metals selected from among Ca, Sr, Al, Co, Mg, Ni, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ti and Zn. A phase 3 relatively rich in the substd. metal atoms be scattered in this sintered compact 1. |
