PURPOSE:To position an inside plug for segmenting the inside of a double chamber syringe to two rooms. CONSTITUTION:A medicinal liquid is filled into the chamber 6 on the injection needle mounting part 2a side of an injection cylinder 2 and the injection cylinder is carried into a freeze drying housing where the medicinal liquid is subjected to freeze drying in a vacuum state. The vacuum pressure in the freeze drying housing is so controlled that a prescribed amt. of gas is confined into the injection cylinder 2 at the time of driving the inside plug 4 into the aperture 2c of the injection cylinder 2. The atm. pressure is restored in the freeze drying housing to press fit the inside plug 4 deep into the injection cylinder 2 by a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the injection cylinder 2. The inside plug 4 is stopped at a prescribed position, i.e., slightly before the position where the inside plug 4 is ought to be fitted in the injection cylinder 2 by the gas remaining in the injection cylinder 4. The inside plug 4 is thereafter pushed and positioned by a positioning rod. |
