PRODUCTION OF PERFORATED FILM

PURPOSE:To produce a perforated film having a large number of small perforations having an appropriate opening diameter in a relatively easy and efficient manner. CONSTITUTION:A large number of fine dots 2a are arranged on a smooth base material 1 using photo-setting ink to form a fine dot pattern and this fine dot pattern is cured by UV rays to form a mold A wherein the protruding pattern due to a large number of the fine dots 2a is provided on the base material 1. A film forming resin soln. 4 is cast on the mold A and dried and solidified to form a film which is, in turn, peeled from the mold to produce a perforated film B equipped with a large number of small perforations 5 made by the protruding pattern.
