<p>PURPOSE:To provide a buffer unit capable of discharging a sheet of the back face from a device main body, removing a curl, and changing the discharging speed of the sheet to a sorter. CONSTITUTION:A sheet conveyance path 109 in a buffer unit 100 conveying a sheet S discharged from a device main body 30 is provided with a branch member 102 serving as a back face paper discharging function and a curl removing means 104. The buffer unit 100 is provided with a moving means 33a changing the height of the sheet conveyance path 109 and an accelerating means 33b accelerating the sheet discharging speed. When the device main body 30 is used as the output device of a printer, the sheet is inverted by the branch member 102 and discharged, and pages are aligned in the normal order. When a sorter 200 is connected to the buffer unit 100, the height of the sheet conveyance path 109 is changed by the moving means 33a, and the connection of the sorter 200 to the device main body 30 having a different discharge section is facilitated.</p> |
