<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for drawing a curtain filament bundle, a device suitable for the drawing and a method for utilizing the method for drawing and the device to the production of a spun-bonded web. CONSTITUTION: Curtain filament bundles 1 are introduced together with aspirated gas to an injector 2 having a rectangular horizontal section to be partially drawn and introduced into a drawing shaft 4 which is connected to the injector 2 and consists of two parallel and close-distance plates to be fully drawn. The pressure profile in the drawing shaft 4 is monitored by a plurality of pressure measuring means 6 arranged in the form of a grid, By setting a desired pressure profile in the drawing shaft 4 by local variation of the geometry and/or the amount of drawing gas in the drawing shaft 4, the curtain filament bundles are drawn and the drawn curtain filament bundles are thrown off onto a conveying device 19 to produce a spun-bonded web.</p> |
