DEODORIZING FILTER MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To increase deodorizing capacity by forming a deodorant bed consisting of a granular deodorant between a charged nonwoven fabric and a coarse holding nonwoven fabric to constitute a dust-removing and deodorizing filter medium and using a deodorant having a grain diameter capable of being held by the coarse nonwoven fabric to reduce the resistance and to increase the bed thickness. CONSTITUTION:An active carbon bed 4 (deodorant bed) consisting of an active carbon grain 5 as the deodorant is formed between a charged nonwoven fabric 2 and a holding coarse nonwoven fabric 3 having a rigidity enough to hold the shape. The bed 4 is bonded to the nonwoven fabric 3 with an adhesive binder 6. The active carbon grain 5 has a diameter which is not passed through the fabric 3, and the resistance is reduced. Further, the deodorizing capacity is improved by increasing the bed thickness.
