<p>PURPOSE:To enable a golfer to pitch-and-run by cutting the hindering part of a sole to form a thin planar head and to form a planar putter, thereby increasing the distance between a head and a ball and diving the face of the head into the lower side part of the ball. CONSTITUTION:This planar putter 2 is formed as the thin planar head by cutting the hindering part of the sole as compared with the conventional putter 1. For example, the distance between the planar putter 2 and the set position of the ball is made relatively larger than the distance between the conventional putter 1 and the set position of the ball 3. Namely, the planar putter 2 is capable of hitting the lower side part of the ball by diving the face of the head into the lower side part of the ball 4. Then, a natural loft is generated and the hitting of the chip is made possible.</p> |
