PURPOSE: To prepare a medicine hardly causing side effects, attacking to a virus, excellent in immune response and useful for treatment of human HIV- infected patient by including prescribed amounts of thymosine, etc., and HIV replication inhibitor compound, etc., in each free form. CONSTITUTION: The objective medicine comprises (A) a thymosine such as THN-α1, one or more kinds of interleukin such as IL-2 and PEG-1L-2 or its active derivative in an amount for stimulating an immune system which is the amount of the thymosine and the interleukin capable of increasing >=10% number of CD4<+> cells, and (B) an effective amount of one or more kinds of inhibitors of inhibitor compounds of reverse transcriptase such as pyridine nucleotide analogue and nevirapine reducing HIV replication or enzyme activities by mutually acting on the reverse transcriptase, in each free shape. Preferably, the THN-α1 of 1-2 mg is subcutaneously administered twice per week, IL-2 of 1.5-12×10<6> IU/m<2> is successively, peripherally intravenously administered and ZDV (an HIV replication inhibitor) of 500 mg/day is orally administered. |
