PURPOSE:To obtain a handling device for a passbook having an automatic page turning mechanism which can ensure an operation of turning over the pages of a plurality of kinds of passbooks. CONSTITUTION:A shape changing means wherein a stepping motor 30 is rotated, a press bar 23 is put in a reciprocating motion by a cam 31 fixed to the shaft of the stepping motor 30, a roller 29 fitted slidably to the cam 31 and a reset spring 28 and a passbook is pushed up by the press bar 23 from the rear side thereof when an operation of turning over a cover of the passbook is conducted, is provided. The stepping motor 30 is controlled to rotate so as to give a proper amount of change in a shape to each passbook to be handled. |
