<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fiber, containing carbon in a fine powdery state therein, good in heat retaining properties and useful for beddings, etc. CONSTITUTION:This fiber contains carbon in a powdery state, preferably in a state of ultrafine powder (having <=500mmu, especially <=100mmu size). When the fiber is prevented from blackening, white carbon is contained. A bedding (S) prepared by housing a filler 2 constituted of the fiber containing the carbon in a baglike material 1 is good in heat retaining properties and suitable for warming a human body with heat from a planar heating element 3.</p> |
