FIBER REINFORCED RESIN PIPE HAVING RECEIVING MOUTH AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber reinforced resin pipe having a receiving mouth capable of certainly sealing against inner and outer water pressures. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical packing 2 composed of an elastomer is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of one end part of a fiber reinforced resin straight pipe and a thermosetting resin impregnated reinforcing fiber is wound around the cylindrical packing 2 and cured to provide a fiber reinforced resin layer 3 so as to extend from one end part of the straight pipe 1 to form a receiving mouth 31 in the leading end part of the fiber reinforced resin layer 3. The cured resin impregnated reinforcing fiber layer 3 on the cylindrical packing 2 is cured and shrunk.
