The invention starts from a process for heating buildings, in which a boiler installation (1) forming combustion gases is used. In order to achieve wide utilisation of the fuel energy, and in particular also with intermittently operating installations, the combustion gases, which are cooled in the boiler installation (1) to approximately 70 - 40 DEG C, are according to the invention conveyed to a tubular heat exchanger (10) for room heating, which the combustion gases leave with a temperature corresponding essentially to the room temperature. The device envisages pipes (12-15) made of plastic embedded in walls, floors and ceilings, the pipes (12-15) conducting the gases and the mentioned parts of the building forming the storing mass. <IMAGE> |
