PURPOSE:To provide a box body for housing an electric equipment with a simple construction which is capable of surely absorbing impacts which occur at a door body and a main body of box when closing the door body and of surely preventing rattle of the door body. CONSTITUTION:A box body 1 for housing electric appliance comprises a main body 2 of box having an opening and a door body 3 covering this opening, said door body 3 being attached to the main body 2 of box with hinges, the inside of said main body 2 being arranged with panels for placing various electric appliances. An inserting hole 3a drilled near the end of the rear surface of a door body 3 and a buffer 4 which can be inserted to said inserting hole 3a for fixation are provided, this buffer 4 forms a projection piece 4a on one surface and a spring member 4b on the other surface, the projected piece 4a is inserted for fixation to the inserting hole 3a drilled near the end of a rear surface of the door body 3, and the spring member 4b is formed in such a manner that it touches the peripheral edge of the opening of the main body 2 of box when the door body 3 is closed. |
