PURPOSE:To provide the 'lot' system which improves the convenience of customers, improves soundness and safety and enables the circulated usage of resources as well by utilizing a high-speed computer network based on communication lines and IC cards. CONSTITUTION:The lot consumer purchases a lot IC card 2 at a lot sales shop 1 and inputs a password number and personal data by using a lot terminal equipment 3 inside the shop or a lot terminal equipment 5 installed at any suitable place. These data are transmitted to a host computer 8 at a lot data center. The host computer 8 decides a 'lot' number for the lot consumer, registers this number and stores it in the storage device of the host computer 8 together with the password number of the lot consumer or the like and at the same time, they are recorded in a memory for data inside the lot IC card 2. After a prize number is decided, the winning lot consumer inserts the lot IC card 2 to the lot terminal equipment 3 or 5, executes a prescribed input operation and receives a dividend. |
