PURPOSE:To simply, reliably and electrically join a connecting member and linear heating elements together by inserting the heating elements formed by applying insulating covering to a conductor of carbonic short fiber in press-fitting cylinder parts having biting projections, and compressing them from an outer peripheral surface by a tool. CONSTITUTION:In a connecting member A of a metallic plate, a pair of almost C- shaped cross-sectional press-fitting cylinder parts 1 and 2 are continuously formed in a straight line shape through a connecting belt 3. Linear heating elements 4 covered with insulating covering materials 4b are connected to these by using cabonic short fiber as conductors 4a. After the heating elements 4 are inserted in the press-fitting cylinder parts 1 and 2 still in a covered condition, they are compressed in the diametrically contractive direction from an outer peripheral surface by a press-fitting tool. Biting projections 1a and 2a break through the covering materials 4b of the heating elements 4, and are electrically continued to the conductors 4a, and electrically connect the left and right heating elements 4 and 4 to each other, and at the same time, the cylinder parts 1 and 2 embrace and hold them from a covering outer peripheral surface, and mechanically firmly join them together. An outside surface of the member A is sealed by and covered with an insulating cover body 5 so as to be used. |
