PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining a high- brilliance image having no color lap drift without causing an increase of the manufacturing cost and enlargement of the device. CONSTITUTION:Four sets of recording devices 3Y forming images of different colors are provided on four photoreceptor drums 2Y arranged in parallel with each other. Transfer devices 21Y face the photoreceptor drums 2Y respectively across a conveying belt 20 conveying the paper sheet via four photoreceptor drums 2Y in sequence. A register roller pair 25 aligning the tip of the paper sheet then feeding it to the conveying belt 20 is provided with a driving side roller 25a and a driven side roller 25b provided movably between the contact position kept in contact with the driving side roller 25a and the separation position separated from the driving side roller 25a. The driven side roller 25b is moved to the separation position by a separating mechanism before the tip of the paper sheet reaches the first photoreceptor drum 16. |
