PURPOSE: To provide a planar carbon segment rectifier, wherein the carbon segment is simply and securely fixed to a base member. CONSTITUTION: A segment 7 of a planar commutator is molded on a contact member 5. The respective carbon segment 7 and an anchor means 8 as a unitary body have an interlock part 11, which is engaged with a back surface 6 of the contact member 5 and are coupled into a concave first surrounding body 4 of the uniform cross-sectional indentation which extends rear-wards of a front edge 3 of a molded plastic base member 2. Each of the contact member 5 is attached to a base member 1 by a lock member 15. The lock member 15 protrudes to a second holding body 14 having an inner surface surrounding the member 15. |
