PURPOSE:To make a timing of a reception user clock match with a timing of a transmission user clock by using RTS information sent from a sender side. CONSTITUTION:An internal RTS information generating section 71 uses a network clock CN and received user clock CRU to generate internal RTS information sets IRTS1-IRTS4 being timing information of the received user clock and a reception RTS clock CRCK synchronously with them by using the SRTS method. An arithmetic section 72 calculates a difference between the internal RTS information sets IRTS1-IRTS4 and received RTS information sets RRTS1- RRTS4 included in a received ATM cell and a reception user clock generating section 73 adjusts the timing of the received user clock CBU, so as to make the difference zero and provides an output of the adjusted clock. An ATM cell decomposition section 81 provides an output of user data DRU, from the ATM cell synchronously with the received user clock CRU, from a reception user clock generating section 72 and outputs received RTS information synchronously with the received RTS clock CRCK. |
