PURPOSE:To manufacture a color image forming device and an intermediate transfer drum at a low manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:This intermediate transfer drum is constituted of a conducting carrier 91, an elastic layer 95 formed on the conducting carrier 91, and a fluororesin tube 96 closely arranged on the elastic layer 95. An inexpensive rubber material can be used for the elastic layer 95. The fluororesin tube 96 is arranged without depending on the roughness of the surface of the elastic layer 95, and the roughness of the surface of the fluororesin resin tube 96 itself appears in the final configuration as it is. The surface of the elastic layer 95 is not required to be made smooth, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. |
