PURPOSE:To prevent a developing roller from being left with the shape trace of the tip of a regulating member during the nonoperational state of the developing roller over a long period. CONSTITUTION:This developing device is constituted of a developing roller 243 sticking a one-constituent nonmagnetic toner 241 to a photoreceptor drum 22 via the rotating action for development, a feeding roller 244 feeding the toner 241 in a toner hopper 242 to the developing roller 243 via rotation, a rotatable support shaft 246, a regulating member 247 fixed to the support shaft 246 at the rear end section in contact with the developing roller 243 at the tip section and regulating the toner quantity stuck to the photoreceptor drum 22, a circular member fixed to the rotary shaft of the developing roller 243, and a fixed member 37 fixed to one end of the support shaft 246 and kept in contact with the outer periphery of the circular member on the periphery. The support shaft 246 is arranged in the downstream of the rotating direction of the developing roller 243 against the tip section of the regulating member 247. |
