PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic recorder capable of suppressing the reduction in density with time. CONSTITUTION:In the electrophotographic recorder provided with a developing unit using one-component system toner and having a toner quantity regulating member 5, a developing roller 3 and an intermediate roller 4 and a photoreceptor drum 8, and developing the toner onto the photoreceptor drum 8 by the intermediate roller 4 by regulating toner by the toner quantity regulating member 5 and then, transferring/sticking the toner onto the intermediate roller 4 by the developing roller 3, an optical sensor 11 detecting the density of the image on the photoreceptor drum 8 is oppositely arranged in the vicinity of the drum 8 on the downstream side from the developing unit 1 to control the change of development set conditions in accordance with the output of the optical sensor 11. |
