PURPOSE:To provide a nonresonant knocking detector in which economy is enhanced by requiring only one preamplifier and the detection accuracy is enhanced by setting a gain appropriately. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation signal detected through a nonresonant oscillation sensor 11 is amplified through a variable amplification amplifier 12, passed through band-pass filters 131, 132, 133 and then the peak values are held by means of peak hold circuits 141, 142, 143. The peak values are taken into a control section comprising a microcomputor and the gain of the amplifier 12 is regulated based on the weighted mean of peak values. |
